Does Benedict promote the subtle Christological heresy that Jesus is not God?

I write this on Trinity Sunday 2016

Something odd happened to me in 2005, which scared me and gave me goosebumps. 

Why on earth am I writing about something that happened to me over 10 years ago? Because a few days ago, the Vatican issued a communique to the world, saying that Pope Benedict has denied having a conversation with Proffessor Dollinger regarding the Third Secret of Fatima. Apparently  Proffessor Dollinger said that Cardinal Ratziger told him that the unrevealed part of the Third Secret is to do with a bad Council and a bad Mass. Steve Skojec's latest post on OnePeter5 is about this new revelation by Proffessor  Dollinger, and it has gone so viral that it got the Vatican's attention. So this quick communication from the Vatican shows a nervousness on their part, to issue such a strong statement on behalf of Pope Benedict. So, who is lying? The Vatican, Pope Benedict or Proff Dollinger. I don't think the latter is lying.

So back to my past. While I was studying in my second year at Maryvale Institute in February 2005 for the part time BA Divinity, and while Pope John Paul II was still alive, I was perturbed to read a book by the then Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger. It was called "God and the World - A conversation with Peter Seewald", Ignatius Press, 2000. It was in a question and answer format. It has been a best seller I believe.

On page 294, Peter Seewald asks Cardinal Ratzinger about Mary being the mother of God, and the Cardinal replies, "obviously she is not God's mother in the sense of His having come from her. But she was in the sense of having been the mother of that man who was entirely at one with God." Now I remember re-reading and re-reading the last part and red flags were popping up all over my head, and I felt a quickening of my heart-beat inside. Anyway, I wrote to my tutor, that wonderful canon lawyer - Father John Redwood (RIP). I quoted the troubling sentence to him. He wrote back, "I agree with you. Ratzinger's statement that Mary was the mother of that man who was entirely at one with God" is ambiguous. She was the mother of the man who WAS God!" The ever so subtle and  carefully worded answer from Cardinal Ratzinger is a Christological heresy denying that Jesus Christ IS God! So, does Pope Benedict believe that Jesus is God? It would seem not - according to his reply to Mr Seewald. 

Another interesting article on Pope Benedict's theology was written by late Father Luigi Villa in December 2011, where he critiques a book by Pope Benedict, called, "The God of Jesus Christ" - the title alone gives the heebie jeebies! That title alone says that Jesus is NOT God. Here is the link - please read it! So if this is the case, then Pope Benedict is a subtle Arian. No one has picked up on this except Fr Villa - who held a doctorate in theology.

Another interesting podcast I listened to today was a criticism of Catholic bloggers who blog anonymously. And there are many of them! Good writing and all that, but they hide behind anonymity. I blog under my real name and yes it has got me into 'trouble' of course it has! I have lost friends yes. My blog eventually caused me to leave Opus Dei. But I refuse to be anonymous. 

There is a lot of nostalgia for Pope Benedict, while Pope Francis causes havoc with his many plane interviews and apostolic exhortations. But this nostalgia is quite odd IF Pope Benedict is a crypto Arian.

THE THIRD SECRET OF FATIMA - new evidence

On 25th June I received an email with permission to print the contents - to do with the Third Secret of Fatima. Mr Franco Adessa - secretary of the late Fr Luigi Villa - has given the go-ahead to publish this.

It isn't long and won't take you long to read.

THE THIRD SECRET OF FATIMA

Our Lady revealed the Third Secret to Lucy, on July 13, 1917, at the Cova da Iria (Fatima).
Lucy wrote down the Third Secret of Fatima on January 3, 1944. She gave it to the Bishop of
Leiria in 1957, and he handed it over to the Vatican. After reading it, John XXIII gave it to the Prefect
of the Holy Office, Card. Ottaviani, to read, and then he filed it. In 1963, Paul VI read the Third
Secret, and filed it away. And so did all his successors.
In the same year, 1963, Card. Ottaviani wrote a “diplomatic version” of the Third Secret which
he sent to the authorities in Washington, London and Moscow, with the intent to put an end to nuclear
testing. This text was published by the German periodical of Stuttgart, “Neues Europa,” on October
15, 1963, with Card. Ottaviani’s authorization.
The text of this “diplomatic version” was about three times longer than the Third Secret, and
therefore, it was a “fake.” However, this “diplomatic” text also had a “secret”: It contained all the
sentences of the Third Secret of Fatima, written by Lucia! But who knew these sentences?
Cardinal Ottaviani and ... Fr. Luigi Villa!
In 1956, Fr. Luigi Villa, was commissioned by Padre Pio to dedicate his life to defend the Church
of Christ from the work of Ecclesiastical Freemasonry and, via the Archbishop of Chieti, Msgr. Bosio,
he received a papal mandate from Pope Pius XII to carry out this delicate task. Pius XII entrusted
Fr. Villa to Card. Ottaviani to be trained and instructed on all the secrets of the Church pertaining to
his mandate. So it was that, for many years, Fr. Villa became Card. Ottaviani’s secret agent.
Among the secrets that Fr. Villa had to know was the Third Secret of Fatima.
Fr. Villa knew all the sentences of the Third Secret contained in Card. Ottaviani’s “diplomatic version.” It was Father Villa, who one day told me all these sentences, one by one. It was
he, shortly before his death, who gave me the permission to publish them in my “testimony”!

A great chastisement will fall on the entire human race; not today as
yet, not tomorrow, but in the second half of the Twentieth Century.
No longer does order reign anywhere and Satan will reign over the
highest places directing the course of events. He (Satan) really will
succeed in infiltrating to the top of the Church.
Also for the Church a time of Her greatest trials will come. Cardinals
will oppose Cardinals; Bishops will oppose Bishops and Satan will
march amid their ranks, and in Rome there will be changes. What is
rotten will fall, and what will fall will never rise again.
The Church will be darkened and the world deranged by terror.
A great war will break out within the second half of the Twentieth
Century. Fire and smoke will fall from Heaven, the water of the
oceans will become vapors and the foam will rise up flooding and sinking everything. Millions and millions of people will die by the hour
and the survivors will envy the dead.
Death will reign everywhere for the errors committed by the foolish
and by the partisans of Satan, who, then and only then, will reign
over the world. At last, those who will survive all of these events will
once more proclaim God and His Glory and serve Him like before, when
the world was not so corrupted.
